  The students are busy reading and engaging with fantasy stories. They are stepping into the magical world of fairy tales, folktales, and fables. Students became actors and storytellers this week to reenact the stories they are reading. This not only helps students better understand this genre, it also builds fluency and comprehension.

  Armstrong students had the opportunity to experience a Google Expedition this afternoon. Using the Google devices, students went on a "virtual field trip" to many locations around the globe. Our class took a trip to Antarctica, China, South Africa, and even the Moon! It was a wonderful experience!
