Fourth graders compared and contrasted physical properties of matter as they designed and tested the ability of foil boats to float or sink with various amounts of mass. It was an exciting exploration as predictions, observations and conclusions brought surprise to the young scientists.

2:14 What a Wonderful World!
As part of our celebration of Earth Day, we listened to Louis Armstrong's famous song, "It's a Wonderful World" and viewed some incredible photos of planet Earth. The students were inspired to make a class book using the lyrics of the song. Enjoy watching!
