Meet Mrs. Donham

Welcome to the wonderful world of First Grade! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. It is going to be a fun year filled with lots of learning and exciting new adventures.

As a Highland Park graduate myself, I am excited to begin my 11th year  at Armstrong Elementary School. I received my Master in Education with specialization in reading literacy in 2022. My husband Michael and I are proud parents of four amazing, busy boys. My two oldest sons have graduated college and work here in Dallas. My other two boys are in college, one will be finishing up at Ole Miss and my youngest son will be a sophomore at Texas A&M.

I am honored to have been selected as a S.T.E.A.M teacher in 2019 . I look forward to  providing highly engaging instruction that integrates multiple disciplines allowing my students to make connections in their learning and solve problems. 

When I am not teaching, I love to cook, travel to the beach and play with our adorable dog Bella.
