Meet Mrs. Pena

Welcome to 1st grade!  It is going to be an awesome year full of learning, laughter, and fun!  

My name is Riley Pena, and I am entering my 12th year in education. I have been here at Armstrong in various positions for the last 5 years but am so happy to be back in 1st grade.

I was born in Wyoming and grew up in Iowa.  I graduated with my Bachelors in Education from the University of Iowa before moving to Texas to start my teaching career.  I am married to my husband, Sebastian, who I am sure you will see around all the time with our children Maxwell (7), Lennox (5), Matteo (3), and Lottie (1.)  We definitely have our hands full!
