Welcome

Welcome, Armstrong Eagles! My name is Amanda Hollier and I am entering into my eleventh year at Armstrong Elementary. I am excited to get started in my second year as school counselor and looking forward to getting to know students and families!

I am Houston native and a Dallas transplant! Although I love my hometown of Spring (just north of Houston), I got to Dallas as fast as I could after graduating from college. I attended Texas A&M University in College Station for my undergraduate degree in education and Lamar University for my master's degree in school counseling. I am entering into my seventeenth year in education.

My family lives in Lakewood Heights in Dallas. My husband, Brendon, and I welcomed our first child, Harrison, in September of 2021 and it has been the best journey becoming his mom! In our free time we love traveling around Texas to visit our family and friends. When we are not traveling you will find us out and about in Dallas and working in our yard and garden.

As your school counselor, I am here to serve and support the students, families, and staff of Armstrong. I feel privileged to support all students this year as they explore, learn, and gain powerful tools to become authentic difference-makers in our community.
