Dear Armstrong Parents,
Welcome to John S. Armstrong Elementary. As we begin Armstrong’s 103rd school year, we can be proud of our school’s rich history as we look toward an excellent future for our children.
Through the Armstrong PTA, our parents can play a vital role in the success of our school. The PTA is a valued partnership between our remarkable teachers, amazing staff and wonderfully committed parents, all under the leadership of our dedicated principal, Dr. Skip Moran. By working together, we can enrich our children’s education in so many beneficial ways.
Thank you to all the parent volunteers who have already committed to serving this school year. Your time spent in the classroom, cafeteria, library, Eagle Store, or serving on one of our many PTA committees, is greatly appreciated. The financial generosity of our families allows us to better enhance our school, fund technology upgrades, support teacher training opportunities, plan teacher appreciation events and so much more. I am very grateful for the countless volunteer hours and level of support you give to Armstrong.
If you would like to get involved, I encourage you to take advantage of the numerous opportunities available at our school. Whether it is serving in the cafeteria, volunteering to be a room parent, participating in Family Giving, attending the fall auction, supporting Armstrong Reads and the spring carnival, or helping with other special events…you are making a difference!
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our school. You help make Armstrong the special school it is! I look forward to seeing each of you this year.
