Second Grade Home

 

Second graders are enthusiastic learners!  They will be learning independence, problem-solving, and valuable interpersonal skills!  Through authentic learning experiences involving projects, research, writing, and other communication, we will all grow as life-long learners.

 

We believe that students learn best from other students whether in their own classroom or through other global connections.

 

Technology integrated throughout the school day allows our students to be 21st-century learners and problem solvers.  Rather than learning one particular software program, students discern the best use of technology for a particular assignment.  It may be a podcast, video, blog post, or even a puppet show using an app on the iPad.  We know that technology is here to stay and are thankful to our PTA for supporting both teachers and students in this endeavor.
