The 4th grade fine arts field trip was a success! Students were able to do some sketching at The Nasher Sculpture center. How cool it was to draw while surrounded by such amazing works of art! Students also visited The Crow Collection of Asian Art. While at The Crow, students were able to see the work, "Flight of the Canyon", by Abhidyna Ghuge. This was especially exciting for students since they have been studying her work in class for the past few weeks. It's such a wonderful thing that we live in a city with such great art museums!

After the museums, we moved over to the Dallas Symphony, and enjoyed a fabulous performance and music lesson. We ended the day at Klyde Warren for lunch. The weather was perfect. It was a spectacular day of artful learning!
