All About Ms. Beber

Hello Armstrong Families!

My name is Mackenzie Beber and I am so excited to be teaching second grade again for the 2023-2024 school year! This is my fourth year at Armstrong and I feel so lucky to work in such an amazing community.

A little bit about me...

In 2020, I moved from my hometown of Portland, Oregon to Dallas, Texas. I graduated from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) with a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences, focusing in child development and teaching strategies. I later received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University. After graduating, I spent my time teaching kindergarten through fifth grade, though I definitely have a soft spot for second.

Outside of school, I love to travel, workout, try new restaurants, and spend time with my friends and family. Fun and random facts about me: I studied abroad in Florence, Italy during college, I have bungee jumped off the highest bungee bridge in the U.S. and I spent my time growing up playing on a competitive soccer team.

I am so beyond excited for this school year and I look forward to another amazing year at Armstrong!

Love,

Ms. Beber
